AgriScape Innovations Company Limited (ASI Co. Ltd.) was honored to receive students from the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) who visited the company as part of their initiative on the Promotion of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) around Sokoine University of Agriculture. During the visit, the students engaged with AgriScape's management team and staff to learn about the company's role in agricultural development, community empowerment, agribusiness innovation, and capacity-building initiatives. The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful discussions on the importance of strengthening community-based organizations as platforms for sustainable development, youth engagement, entrepreneurship, and agricultural transformation.

Participants emphasized the importance of building strong partnerships that facilitate knowledge exchange, research dissemination, technology transfer, and capacity-building initiatives. The students learned how institutions such as Sokoine University of Agriculture can support community organizations through research, training, innovation, and extension services, while private sector organizations like AgriScape Innovations Company Limited can contribute technical expertise, mentorship, market linkages, and business development support.

In addition, participants discussed the need for joint projects, internship and volunteer opportunities, community outreach programs, and collaborative training initiatives that can empower local communities and improve livelihoods.
